Jay

Owner / Master of Ceremonies / DJ

Jay started his career as a disc jockey back in 1988 doing birthday parties and high school dances. His first DJ system consisted of a cheap mixer, some technics 1200 turntables, a few milk crates full of records and his home stereo tuner and speakers. Within a few years he had 2 professional sound systems and 2 nightclub quality light shows. His company, A Touch of Class, was considered one of the best disc jockey services in Rhode Island specializing in weddings and corporate functions.

After almost 2 decades as an entertainer, he hung up his headphones and pursued a career in law enforcement and is currently in his 24th year with the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.

As the years went by, he missed the music industry more and more until finally making the decision to return to entertaining. Today, Jay offers the same great service and care for his clients as he did years ago, only now with a fresh new look.

Mario

Mario and Jay have been best friends since Jay began DJing their high school dances. Once A Touch of Class took off, Jay needed someone he could trust to run the 2nd system and take care of any business in his absence. In 1999, Mario officially became manager of A Touch of Class and was Jay's right-hand man. When Jay retired from the industry, so did Mario but like Jay, he missed being an entertainer. When Jay made the decision to return to the industry, he knew just who he wanted by his side and with "not so much persuasion", DJ Mario was back!

Between the months of May and October, you can find Mario working at Seekonk Speedway keeping the racers safe and in check. When he's not working the races, you can find him wrenching on his own car with his son.
